About Us

Welcome to The Socially Distant Lawyer — your go-to podcast for navigating the ever-evolving legal landscape from the comfort of your own space. Whether you're a practicing attorney, a law student, or someone interested in the legal field, our podcast aims to bring you insightful discussions, expert interviews, and the latest legal news in the insurance litigation industry and beyond.

The SDL podcast and blog was started in the Winter of 2019 during the worldwide global COVID-19 pandemic. The SDL was a platform used to create a space where news of the insurance litigation would be more accessible to the public during this hard time. After the conclusion of the pandemic, the SDL has remained strong developing new shows like Common Interest and bringing on more special guests to continue our mission to bring a new way for people to learn and to hear from experts and lawyers.

Our Mission

At The Socially Distant Lawyer, we aim to make the law accessible and engaging for everyone. The SDL also brings special guests from around the industry to give their advice and knowledge of this industry and to have great conversations to bring a different perspective.
